Dr. Brandon Christensen

Robin works closely with the Vice President of Community and Internal Relations and the Community and Wellness Committee, organizing well-being related activities and initiatives, as well as overseeing wellness grants and event funding. She is also a staff liaison to the Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity Committee. 

In addition, Robin works in the areas of Agreement Compliance and organizing Letters of Understandings annually. If you have any questions about the Agreement, she is more than happy to help! 

Robin moved to Alberta from Ontario a few years ago and although she misses the Great Lakes and raccoons, she finds that taking trips to the mountains and the antics of magpies help fill the void in her heart. She enjoys cooking, growing all varieties of tomatoes and listening to 99% Invisible, ideas and Planet Money.

Adrienne brings a wealth of communications experience to PARA. She is a trained graphic designer and as such, her passion is bringing together well-planned communications and creative visuals for the best possible result.

In her spare time, she enjoy cooking, spending time with her family and cuddling with her two dogs, a Boston Terrier (Lulu) and French Bulldog (George). 

Dr. Daniel Koerber is an Internal Medicine resident physician at the University of Alberta, and has been working with PARA since 2021. He has a background in business, investing and finance and is eager to bring his past experience into his role in the organization. His focus this year is to work with the Executive Board to make sure the PARA budget is optimally directed towards the highest-yield projects for resident physicians. In his spare time, Dr. Koerber is an avid squash and volleyball player. 

Dr. Sarah Cook is thrilled to represent her co-resident physician peers across Alberta through her role as Vice President in Leadership and Education. She brings leadership experience from serving as co-chair of PARA’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee and the PGME Anti-Racism Task Force at the U of C.

Her passion for medical education has motivated her to complete a Master of Health Professions Education at UBC, where she will continue her research interest in marginalized groups in medical training. Her goal in PARA is to promote leadership and education opportunities for all resident physicians, across both university sites and specialties.

When not at work, Dr. Cook loves hiking with her cockapoo Nakoda, exploring new dining spots in Calgary and travelling abroad. She looks forward to working with you during the upcoming academic year.
