Dr. Joshua Jones

Dr. Brandon Christensen serves as the Calgary and Southern Alberta Ambassador (CSAA) and has extensive previous experience in student and resident physician governance, with a particular focus on improving the resident physician learning environment and teaching. Prior to joining the Executive Board, Brandon served one term on the PARA Assembly and three terms on the PARO General Assembly during his internal medicine residency. He is currently a PGY 5 in Infectious Diseases at the University of Calgary, where he serves as Lead/Chief Resident. 

Dr. Nathan Rider is honoured to serve and represent resident physicians in Alberta. His focus is on resident physician wellness, governance and transparency. Dr. Rider brings policy expertise, stakeholder relations skills and governance experience from his previous career with the Government of Alberta and involvement with various non-profit organizations. He is currently training in Public Health and Preventive Medicine. In his spare time, Dr. Rider enjoys dancing and spending time in the mountains.

Dr. Daniel Koerber is an Internal Medicine resident physician at the University of Alberta, and has been working with PARA since 2021. He has a background in business, investing and finance and is eager to bring his past experience into his role in the organization. His focus this year is to work with the Executive Board to make sure the PARA budget is optimally directed towards the highest-yield projects for resident physicians. In his spare time, Dr. Koerber is an avid squash and volleyball player. 

Dr. Chloe Lim is a third-year Internal Medicine resident physician from the U of C and 2nd term as VPCIR. Dr. Lim believes in work-life balance despite being a busy resident physician! Her goal is to promote wellness in many shapes and forms within all resident physician cohorts, regardless of specialty, school and interests. Dr. Lim hopes to introduce new forms of wellness funding including snack funds. In her spare time, she loves exploring new restaurants and going to spin classes.
