Courtney Murphy currently does not have a biography.

As Director of Communications and External Relations, Kiersten leads PARA’s communications strategy and oversees the association’s media, public and government relations portfolios. Since joining PARA in 2016, she has focused on clear, purposeful messaging and building strong relationships with members, partners and external stakeholders.

Kiersten is dedicated to creating content that informs, connects and advocates for Alberta’s resident physicians. She brings a strategic lens to every project, with a focus on meaningful engagement and continuous improvement.

Outside of work, Kiersten enjoys baking, traveling, reading and spending time with her husband and two young children.

Tara provides strategic guidance and expertise to PARA’s executive – including the CEO and Board of Directors – on strategy, policy development, governance, stakeholder relations and advancing PARA’s strategic objectives. With more than 10 years with PARA, Tara is a passionate advocate for excellence in residency training in Alberta. 

A self-ascribed word nerd and newly minted policy wonk, Tara is also firmly anti-Oxford comma and relishes the chaos her impassioned – and controversial – stance brings. When not nerding and wonking, Tara is a keen reader, music aficionado, travel lover and hockey fan, and is the proud owner of a husband, two (mostly grown) children and an exceptionally fluffy Alaskan Malamute.

Robin has 10 years of expertise working with PARA in internal relations, contract management, and partner engagement. As the Manager of Internal Relations, Robin is responsible for ensuring agreement compliance, assisting resident physicians and residency training programs, managing Letters of Understanding and supporting negotiation efforts.  Through her work she is fostering strong relationships with key partners to help support resident physicians through their journey.

Outside of work she enjoys camping, gardening and bike rides with her family.

Ravneet has been with PARA for nine years, supporting the association’s internal relations and member engagement. In her role, she focuses on agreement compliance and serves as a key point of contact for resident physicians and programs. Ravneet is also the staff lead for the Award Committee. Her work contributes to PARA’s efforts to ensure seamless internal coordination, responsive member support and meaningful representation on external committees.

Abbie is a specialist in creative content with three years of experience in digital marketing and strategic communications. She is passionate about storytelling and excels at crafting compelling content that drives audience engagement and supports brand growth. With a strong foundation in both written and visual communication, Abbie effectively bridges the gap between creative vision and clear messaging. She is committed to delivering innovative marketing solutions and developing strategies that resonate with her target audiences while fostering meaningful connections across various channels.

Beyond the screen, Abbie enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her dog, Gary. On weekends, she co-founds and leads her run club, Sundae Run Crew.

With 10 years of experience in healthcare administration, Dakota has built a strong foundation in supporting teams, streamlining processes and keeping operations running smoothly. She began her career as a Unit Clerk in Alberta, where she developed a deep understanding of patient care environments and the importance of efficient coordination.

Over the years, she has worked in administrative roles in both Manitoba and Alberta, gaining experience supporting diverse projects and earning a reputation for her organization, adaptability and attention to detail.

Outside of work, Dakota enjoys spending time with her husband, Ethan, and their dog, Cooper, planning trips to visit friends and family, reading a good book, camping and relaxing around a bonfire, and soaking up the sun on a beach somewhere - with a margarita in hand.
