Licensing Information for Resident Physicians, Fellows, and Physician Extenders

Trainees who intend to enter practice in Alberta following completion of their training program must apply for an independent practice licence with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA). Please note, physician extender licences automatically expire when your residency program ends.
