CAIR

The Canadian Association of Internes and Residents (CAIR) is the national body of seven provincial medical resident associations collectively representing over 8,000 medical residents in training across Canada. CAIR advocates for the collective interests of resident physicians in educational, professional and well-being issues.

2011/2012 CAIR Board Member Alberta Delegates

The CAIR Board of Directors is made up of two voting members from each provincial housestaff organization and meets three times a year rotating from province to province. The CAIR Executive consists of seven voting members elected by the Board at their October Board of Directors meeting.Alberta has two elected positions on the CAIR Board; the term length of these positions is one year with the option to serve for one additional year. Elections for these positions are usually held in late spring/early summer.
