Liability Insurance

You are covered automatically under two (2) liability insurances: 1) the Authorities general liability insurance coverage, and 2) the university's liability coverage. The third coverage available to you, to which you must apply, is through the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA). Membership in the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) shall be a requirement for each Resident, effective September 1, 2003. CMPA application forms are included in the PARA information package distributed early in your contract year. Contact PARA or the CMPA office for an application form.
